Tommy Scott

President

Tommy is the CEO of Scott Roofing and is the one who sets the precedence for our day-to-day operations. Although he is the operator behind it all you will rarely catch him in the office but more often on the road checking in on our crews, or on the roof for our customers providing estimates and inspections. Tommy’s 30 + years of hands-on experience is what allows him to continue to pour his love and passion for this work into his community. He was born and raised in Tavares and feels strongly about being dependable for his community and taking care of each customer as they are his own family. Family is everything for Tommy and he is a devoted husband to his wife, a dependable father to his four children, and a doting grandfather to his seven grandchildren. He is very proud to have two of his four children working with him to “cover” their community for another 50 years.

Tyler Scott

Director of Sales

Tyler holds the overall title of Director of Sales but wears many hats in the day-to-day jobs. He does daily estimates/inspections but dedicates time to research & attends conferences to bring cutting-edge techniques to our already established staple in the community. Tyler takes the initiative to find a resolution before/during/after each job with the main goal of our customers being left 100% satisfied with our quality of work & customer service. He will be the third generation to run Scott’s Roofing and prides himself in continuing the legacy of this company. Even in high school, it was obvious he was a natural entrepreneur, and he has seamlessly shifted into his role for his family. When Tyler isn’t on a roof or selling a job, you can find him somewhere on the water with his wife & two daughters soaking up the sun & saltwater.

Mckenzie Mason

Office Administrator

McKenzie is the first person you will talk to usually when contacting our office! She brings a big smile and positive attitude to her job daily that revolves around customer care and questions. She spends her days fielding messages, managing the scheduling of estimates and inspections, and most importantly assisting our customers understand the process of the job and choosing colors as needed in our showroom! McKenzie was a welcomed addition when she started working with us after the birth of her first baby but has quickly become an integral part of the Scott family and business. If she isn’t talking all things roofing with our customers, she is sure to be chasing her toddler around or out on the boat with her family!

Bryce DeMott

Operations Manager

Bryce is the Operations Manager for Scott’s Roofing and always goes above and beyond to ensure our jobs are set up properly from the start & juggles many tasks throughout his day to keep the jobs running seamlessly. He doesn’t do this for just one job in one day, but multiple jobs in one day and never disappoints. He handles the material orders and deliveries of those materials for each job while supervising jobs in play throughout the day. Bryce is an employee that came in as a friend but quickly became family to the Scott’s and his dedication to his work and his drive for success is only half of what makes him such an asset to Scott’s Roofing. Bryce loves to hone in on his golf game on his time off or fix up fun things around his house for him and his family to enjoy together.

Bryce DeMott

Operations Manager

Jesse Nava

Supervisor

Jesse is the head supervisor at T. Scott Roofing and is an essential asset to the company. He has brought his hands-on knowledge of shingle, metal & flat roofing to the company and has shown honorable loyalty being an employee of 25 + years at T. Scott Roofing. Jesse’s dedication to his craft is shown daily through the quality of our crews and he is always eager to help our crews in whatever ways they need support throughout each job. His many years of experience in metal roofing assists in ensuring those projects go seamlessly from measurement take-offs to the complete layback of the metal system, just like his knowledge of shingle and flat roofing. He is a family man and enjoys spending time with his wife, visiting his kids at college, and traveling to family and friends on his time off.

Sheila Short

Permitting Specialist

Sheila Short has joined the Scott’s Roofing team as our permitting specialist. She brings with her a wealth of knowledge and experience having previously worked, and retired from, the Lake County Building Department.
Sheila will be handling the permitting process from start to finish. She will be working closely with our customers to process the necessary paperwork needed for a roofing permit before the roofing job can start.

Sheila and the Scott family have enjoyed a long time friendship and we are privileged to have her join our work family.

My husband and I are very impressed with this Company. From the first meeting they wereVery knowledgeable about the products and explained the whole process in great detail.They had Good communication during the whole installment . The workmanship of the crew was very professional and efficient during the install of our new roof.The best team work and it showed on completion of our home. The only service they performed was turning my one leak into 14 leaks, damaging my furniture and floor in my home, I really cannot even give them one star. I had one tiny drip when it rained so I called t Scott roofing which came recommended, I had to wait 3 weeks for somebody to come at least look at it and give me a quote to put caulking on all the divots of my metal roof. 9:00 a.m. the morning of my appointment no one showed up I finally got through to the office and she apologized she overbooked him he would come after the job he is on now. So Mr Tommy Scott shows up and he is very pleasant and nice he looked at the roof and he said he would send his worker over that afternoon. And for 100 extra dollars they will put the rib ceiling tape also so I agreed thinking that was a good thing. I had a doctor appointment to go to so I was not present when Mr Scott's worker showed up, but thanks to my nosy neighbors they have explained to me someone got up on the roof with one board he was up there for less than 30 minutes and he was walking all over the roof which apparently is something you should never do on this kind of metal roof without planks or plywood. Then it rained Thursday evening. I went from one leak to 14 leaks, the original leak was still there, another new one about a foot away, and then 12 more all the way across my room coming from apparently the area which was supposedly sealed with rib tape sealer. What ever he did up there cause severe damage and the worst part is they will not return my calls they have apparently blocked me because I spoke to the office personnel after leaving two messages and she said she was trying to reach Mr Tommy Scott and he would call me as soon as possible, I have called three more times throughout the day leaving messages, now it just goes straight to the answering machine without even ringing. I'm quite suspicious of that. So now I have to deal with legal issues and find an emergency roofer before my home gets further damage. I absolutely cannot recommend someone with this kind of work ethic

This company is amazing between their setup, clean up, quality and everything In between, I couldn't ask for anything else. Any extra plywood on top of my cash price , they didn't charge me for, and stressed the fact that if anything happens including mother nature, they got me coovered. You cant put a price on that kind of peace of mind 🤴🤴🔥🔥

I had two fake dormers on the front of my house that were leaking. They came out and gave me an estimate and less than three weeks later they dormers were removed and they matched my existing shingles. It looks fabulous. Thanks for doing an awesome job!!!

Scott's Roofing put on a roof for my parents that lasted well over 25 years. Five years ago they had that one replaced and another fine job was performed by Scott's.Therefore when it came time to reroof the building where my business is there was no doubt who we would call. If you want professional, reliable, timely and affordable call Scott's Roofing .

Owner came out to give me a quote on replacing two damaged shingles. Satisfied with the quote, we agreed to move forward with scheduling. Owner relayed a crew from his company will return within two weeks to complete the job. Three weeks later, no show, no call, no follow up! After calling Scott's roofing's office, I was told by answering party they were unaware of the requested services. Within two days, I received a call back informing me they will indeed be at my residence to complete the requested job that friday. Fast forward nearing a month later from initial quote. Again, NO show, NO call, No follow up! I do understand replacing two shingles doesn't garner the revenue of a total roof replacement. Hey, I'm even ok with being told, "Sorry, the job is too small." However, I'm not ok with poor customer service and poor responsiveness. Job has since been completed by a more diligent company! Would Not Recommend this one!

I have used and recommended Scott Roofing for many years. Tom Scott has repaired and replaced shingles on Union Congregational Church without cost upon numerous occasions. His work was neat and clean. His crew was punctual. I have plants all around my house. When doing the shingle job they did not damage the landscape and not a nail did I find anywhere after completion of the work.

I sold my home and per the inspection I needed a minor repair on my roof. I called and had an appointment scheduled for an estimate and they were to call/text the estimate to me after an inspection, but they never showed. This was on a Friday and I received a call Monday apologizing and stating they would come by that day and text/call the estimate to me. Bad things happen and I had no problem with it until they never showed again, but this time they never called me back. I called them because they were a local company and recommended by a local family who I trust and respect. The family who recommended me were appalled by the service I received as was I. I understand that the economy is good and you are busy, I would have still recommended your company had you simply told me you were too busy rather than stringing me along and jeopardizing the closing on my home which is assuming your treatment of me is based on time versus incompetence.
