About Our Family Business
Scott’s Roofing has been serving Lake and Central Florida counties since 1973. Tommy Scott has owned Scott’s Roofing since 1989, having worked with his father (and former owner) Bob Scott for many years. His vast experience of the roofing industry and strong community ties make him a logical and trustworthy business choice. In keeping with the family business, Tyler Scott, Tommy’s son, has joined the company as supervisor and lead estimator, along with Tommy. Tyler brings a cutting-edge work ethic, expert knowledge and a genuinely humble manner.
Tommy Scott
Tommy is the CEO of Scott Roofing and is the one who sets the precedence for our day-to-day operations. Although he is the operator behind it all you will rarely catch him in the office but more often on the road checking in on our crews, or on the roof for our customers providing estimates and inspections. Tommy’s 30 + years of hands-on experience is what allows him to continue to pour his love and passion for this work into his community. He was born and raised in Tavares and feels strongly about being dependable for his community and taking care of each customer as they are his own family. Family is everything for Tommy and he is a devoted husband to his wife, a dependable father to his four children, and a doting grandfather to his five grandchildren. He is very proud to be continuing this generational business with his son.
JoAnna Scott
As the Accounts Manager and Tommy’s wife of 34 years, JoAnna brings both professional dedication and personal investment to our company's success. JoAnna handles day-to-day financial operations with precision and care, ensuring everything runs smoothly behind the scenes. Her dual role allows her to support both the business and the vision behind it, creating a strong foundation for growth and trust. JoAnna ensures on their time off that she and Tommy enjoy the fruits of their labor through her passion for travel. She is “Mimi” to their five beautiful grandchildren and loves spending time with all the Scott children and grandchildren.
Tyler Scott
Tyler holds the overall title of Director of Sales but wears many hats in the day-to-day jobs. He does daily estimates/inspections but dedicates time to research & attends conferences to bring cutting-edge techniques to our already established staple in the community. Tyler takes the initiative to find a resolution before/during/after each job with the main goal of our customers being left 100% satisfied with our quality of work & customer service. He will be the third generation to run Scott’s Roofing and prides himself in continuing the legacy of this company. Even in high school, it was obvious he was a natural entrepreneur, and he has seamlessly shifted into his role for his family. When Tyler isn’t on a roof or selling a job, you can find him somewhere on the water with his wife & two daughters soaking up the sun & saltwater.

Sarah Scott Varnadore
Sarah is our office manager and the friendly face behind the scenes of production. She coordinates roofing schedules, handles each job’s paperwork, and guides customers through every step of the process to ensure they feel confident and cared for. As the youngest daughter of our owner, Tommy, Sarah has eagerly stepped into the family business, bringing a bright and welcoming attitude to work each day. She takes pride in being part of the company that has always supported her family and now works hard to extend that same care to our customers.
In addition to her role in the office, Sarah also serves as the company’s social media manager and content creator. She leads the creative direction for the business, developing engaging designs and storytelling that highlight both the company’s expertise and its family-focused values.
When she isn’t keeping the office running or brainstorming fresh content, Sarah enjoys spending time with her husband and their two dogs, often out on the water, exploring new places, or simply enjoying quality time with family.

Amber Chambers
Amber is the Administrative Assistant at Scott’s Roofing and is often the friendly first voice you’ll hear when calling our office. With her bright and kind attitude, she helps make sure every customer feels welcomed and taken care of from their very first interaction with us.
Amber handles scheduling appointments and estimates, assists customers with questions, coordinates communication between our customers and team members, and helps keep the day-to-day operations of our busy office organized and running smoothly. Her willingness to help wherever needed and her positive personality make her a wonderful addition to the team.
When Amber isn’t at work, she enjoys spending quality time with her daughter, making memories together, and enjoying time on the water. She loves boating, paddleboarding, and surfing whenever she gets the chance.
Jesse Nava
Jesse is the head supervisor at T. Scott Roofing and is an essential asset to the company. He has brought his hands-on knowledge of shingle, metal & flat roofing to the company and has shown honorable loyalty being an employee of 25 + years at T. Scott Roofing. Jesse’s dedication to his craft is shown daily through the quality of our crews and he is always eager to help our crews in whatever ways they need support throughout each job. His many years of experience in metal roofing assists in ensuring those projects go seamlessly from measurement take-offs to the complete layback of the metal system, just like his knowledge of shingle and flat roofing. He is a family man and enjoys spending time with his wife, visiting his kids at college, and traveling to family and friends on his time off.
Bryce DeMott
Bryce is the Repair & Maintenance Specialist for Scott’s Roofing, helping homeowners identify roofing issues and determine the best solution to keep their roof performing as it should. He handles repair inspections and estimates, evaluates leaks and other problem areas, and works with customers to clearly explain his findings and recommended repairs. Bryce also plays an important role in our preventative maintenance services, helping customers address smaller concerns before they have the opportunity to become larger, more costly problems.
Bryce originally came to Scott’s Roofing as a friend but quickly became part of the Scott’s Roofing family. His dedication, attention to detail, and willingness to go above and beyond for our customers make him a valuable part of our team.
When he’s not helping customers with their roofing needs, Bryce enjoys honing his golf game and taking on projects around the house for him and his family to enjoy together.
Christina Castel
As our Roofing Expert, Christina brings warmth, honesty, and a personable approach to every customer interaction. She takes pride in helping homeowners feel confident in both the products and the quality of work that the team delivers, making sure they feel supported every step of the way.
Though she has been in the roofing industry for a just handful of years, she has already discovered a true passion for it. What began as something she thought would be fun to try quickly grew into a career she loves. With a natural appreciation for being outdoors and an interest in the home improvement industry, roofing has proven to be the perfect fit compared to the confines of an office.
Beyond work, Christina enjoys a full and creative life. Baking, traveling, and exploring new restaurants are some of her favorite pastimes, but her greatest joy comes from spending time with her two sons.
